Placing on the Market and Relationship with Members

Electrão provides its Members with an environmental management service of excellence, with a 50% market share for used batteries.  

In 2023, Electrão strengthened its connection to its members, whose number increased by around 11% compared to the previous year.  

The trust that members place in Electrão is very important to the Association, which guarantees the correct treatment of the batteries they place on the market.

“Electrão Empresas” was the starting point for another initiative, in partnership with Samsung, named “Reciclar dá Sorrisos”. A campaign to collect used batteries, lamps and electrical equipment, which involves the population and Samsung's Specialized Technical Centres. At the end of each year, the amount collected reverts to an NGO.
