Take-back and Treatment

Since 2018, Electrão has contributed to the improvement of the domestic packaging collection and recycling system, which is essential to the recovery of materials, the preservation of the environment and the transition to a circular economy.

The Association's work has a very important educational component, and Electrão's aim is to make citizens aware of the problem of over-consumption of packaging and the impact it has on the environment, especially when it is not properly recycled.

There is a great deal of investment in awareness campaigns such as "TransforMAR", but also in research and development projects such as "Bandeiras Verdes".

Collection is organized into three main types of packaging.
